I am now accepting new patients for teletherapy in PA, NJ, and NY as well as in-environment exposure therapy.
I have 10+ years of experience in outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and inpatient therapy services with adolescents, adults, groups, and couples. This experience enables me to meet you where you are and offer effective individualized care.
My focus is to help individuals and couples heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and creating a plan to effectively move through life's challenges. We will work together to identify and use your own strengths to work towards living a life that is fulfilling and values-oriented.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our mutual goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. I know that you are the expert in your life and your needs and want to use those strengths to move you forward, together.
Many individuals experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. Much of the work for trauma is starting with validating you experience as trauma in order to move through the healing process. Questions to ask yourself: Has an experience or set of experiences impacted my view of myself, others, or the world? Has this impact resulted in behaviors that have not been beneficial to my long term physical, emotional, or relational health?
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to individuals or couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions can be held with an individual that is working on issues that are impacting their relationship. Alternatively, sessions can be held with both partners in the couple to create a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen the relationship. Something to keep in mind: you and your partner are just that, partners, where it can be helpful to look at any obstacle as something to work through together rather than trying to work against each other.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. These emotions are also vital information for disconnection that is happening in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we can work together to recover motivation, perspective, and joy in the day-to-day.
I view eating disorders as emotional disorders which are persisting despite the long term negative effects of their symptoms. Together, we can look at the benefits (often short term) of the eating disorder symptoms by asking "what are they doing for me? Are there certain situations or emotions that I am not wanting to experience?" Together we will then look at the disconnection with yourself, others, and the world as a result to work together to identify more adaptive ways to live a values-aligned life.

Talking about finances with your therapist can feel awkward. There are several options to find what would be best for you and your family, given your financial situation. As a therapist, I am a licensed professional who you pay for support in life's challenges.
A foundation of social work is meeting people where they are. With that being said, I have different tiers and options to meet your financial means. Below is my open ended fee structure to give potential clients the ability to select a fee that feels right for them.
Tier 1: $160-179 per 50 minute session
This tier would be right for you if you feel that you are unable to afford my standard rate ($180/ 50 minute session). If you feel this is the right tier for you, there is no need for explain any further if you do not want to. It should be noted, that this fee is not eligible for reimbursement, as the insurance companies still require consistency in charges.
Tier 2: $180 per 50 minute session
This tier would be right for you if you have out of network benefits and/or feel you are able to afford my standard rate.
Tier 3: $181+ for 50 minute session
This tier would work for you if you feel that you are in a financial situation that would allow you to afford an increased rate for services. This tier would provide support for my capacity to take on patients in the Tier 1 category while being able to meet my personal and professional financial needs.
When starting this practice, I decided against taking insurance because insurance companies demand that therapists practice in a way that runs counter to my values as a professional. These demands include but are not limited to: utilization of a “bio-medical” framework of “mental illness,” accepting clients when we are not a good fit for each other, interacting with extensive layers of bureaucracy, and substandard compensation for my time. With that being said, many insurance companies provide out of network benefits where you are able to send in your bills for partial or even full reimbursement.
Welcome, fellow therapists! I am a qualified supervisor for PA and NJ state licensure. For Social Workers looking for licensure, I can meet all requirements for LCSW in both NJ and PA. For LPC licensure, Social Workers are only able to provide clinical supervision for 1500/3000 hours needed for licensure in these states. Please reach out if you are interested in receiving supervision. I so much enjoy helping to grow the next generation of therapists.
Please contact me with questions about availability and resources. At this time, I am providing virtual treatment and supervision in PA, NJ, and NY.
